About the Artist
BIOGRAPHY
The Levin Brothers—Tony Levin and Pete Levin—are a dynamic duo whose musical journey spans decades and genres. Tony, renowned for his mastery of the bass and Chapman Stick, has contributed to the works of Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, John Lennon, and Pink Floyd, among others. Pete, a Juilliard-trained French horn player turned keyboardist, has collaborated with jazz legends like Miles Davis, Gil Evans, and Wayne Shorter. In 2014, the brothers united their talents to form the Levin Brothers, a project that pays homage to the cool jazz they cherished in their youth. Their music seamlessly blends jazz sophistication with a familial synergy, creating a sound that's both nostalgic and refreshingly original.
The Iridium in New York City is thrilled to welcome the Levin Brothers back to its stage on May 23rd. This performance is part of their anticipated 2025 Northeast U.S. tour, marking a return after a period of individual projects and tours. Joining them will be virtuoso saxophonist Pat LaBarbera, known for his work with the Buddy Rich band and Elvin Jones' quartet. The Iridium, renowned for its intimate setting and rich musical history, provides the perfect backdrop for the Levin Brothers' blend of classic and contemporary jazz. Fans can expect an evening of exceptional musicianship and the unique chemistry that only siblings can share
