About the Artist
BIOGRAPHY
For years, audiences discovered Honey Larochelle through the legendary artists she stood beside. With her forthcoming album, Growing Pains, Honey invites listeners to discover the artist she has always been.
Award-winning international soul artist Honey Larochelle has spent more than two decades lending her voice to some of music's most celebrated artists. A longtime protégé of the legendary Roberta Flack, former lead singer of The Brand New Heavies, and touring collaborator with Jonathan Butler, Honey has also performed and recorded with Omar, Macy Gray, Jennifer Hudson, Joss Stone, Marcus Miller, Lorde, Dr. John, Donny Osmond, and Grammy-winning duo A Great Big World. She has appeared on NBC's The Sing-Off and performed aboard Dave Koz Cruises, including the luxury SOMMA voyages.
With Growing Pains, her fourth full-length album, Honey finally steps fully into the spotlight with her most personal project to date. The album reflects a life shaped by the road, lifelong friendships, unexpected detours, heartbreak, resilience, and the quiet wisdom that comes from continuing to choose love. Carried by Honey's soaring soprano, rich harmonies, and a voice that is both tender and commanding, the music blends timeless soul with jazz sophistication, modern R&B, and irresistible groove. Rather than dwelling on heartbreak, Growing Pains celebrates what it can teach us. Every song is rooted in the belief that growth is worth the pain.
The album's lead single, "Bonded," was produced by Billboard-charting producer Daryl Williams and features Grammy and Stellar Award nominated saxophonist Marcus Anderson. A celebration of the enduring ties that survive time, distance, and change, the song introduces the emotional world of Growing Pains. The follow-up single, "Say the Word," was produced by Grammy Award-winning artist and producer Cory Henry, continuing the album's message with a bold, contemporary soul sound.
Whether commanding a festival stage, captivating audiences aboard luxury music cruises, or delivering an intimate theater performance, Honey Larochelle brings extraordinary musicianship, magnetic storytelling, and a voice that is equal parts elegance and power.
