BIOGRAPHY
Close Enemies, the electrifying new project led by Aerosmith bassist Tom Hamilton, emerged in late 2024 as a formidable force in modern rock. Formed after Aerosmith's retirement from touring, the band features a lineup of seasoned musicians: drummer Tony Brock (The Babys, Rod Stewart), guitarists Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow, Don Henley) and Trace Foster (longtime guitar tech for Joe Perry), and vocalist Chasen Hampton (The Party). Their debut single, "Sound of a Train," released in January 2025, showcases a bluesy, hard-rock sound that resonates with both classic rock aficionados and new listeners alike.
Close Enemies made their live debut in October 2024 at Eastside Bowl in Nashville, Tennessee, delivering a set that included original songs and reimagined Aerosmith classics like "Sweet Emotion" and "Sick as a Dog." The band has since embarked on a U.S. tour, performing in cities such as Philadelphia, New York, Boston, and Chicago. With a full-length album in the works and a growing fan base, Close Enemies is poised to make a significant impact on the contemporary rock scene.
